References to “you” and “your” mean the customer, client, property owner, tenant, occupier, or authorised representative who books or receives the service. These terms apply to domestic and commercial customers unless we state otherwise in writing.

If you are booking on behalf of another person or on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to do so. We reserve the right to amend these terms from time to time. Any updated version will apply to future bookings, not to services already agreed unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing. The version in force at the time of your booking will normally apply to that booking. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK law.

Our service is intended to support clean, safe, and well-maintained indoor environments. Depending on your chosen package, we may use hot water extraction, low-moisture methods, stain-lifting treatments, odour neutralisers, fibre-safe detergents, or other appropriate cleaning techniques. The exact method will depend on the condition and fabric type of the carpet cleaner service you request.

Any description of our services, estimated timeframes, or suggested outcomes is provided in good faith and based on typical conditions. However, natural variation in carpet type, age, wear, fibre composition, and prior treatment can affect results. We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains, odours, or damage, especially where contamination has set deeply into the fibres or backing.

Booking Process

Bookings may be made by phone, email, messaging, booking form, or other approved method. A booking is only confirmed when we have accepted the request and provided confirmation of the appointment date, approximate time window, scope of work, and any agreed price or estimate. Until confirmation is issued, no service contract exists.

When you request a carpet cleaners appointment, you must give accurate information about the property, access arrangements, parking restrictions, room sizes, carpet condition, fibre type if known, and any special concerns such as pet damage, heavy staining, mould, or recent flooding. If incorrect information affects the time, cost, or method of service, we may revise the quote or refuse the job.

This includes removing fragile items, loose valuables, and small personal belongings from the rooms to be cleaned. We may ask you to move furniture or confirm which items are to remain in place. Where heavy furniture is involved, we may decline to move it if doing so could risk injury or damage.

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the stated appointment window, but times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, emergency delays, or earlier jobs running over. If we are delayed, we will try to notify you as soon as reasonably possible. We are not liable for delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If access to the property is not available at the agreed time, or if the area is not ready for cleaning, we may treat the visit as a late cancellation or charge a call-out fee. If additional time is needed because the property differs materially from the information supplied, we may adjust the price, pause the service, or request a revised booking.

For the avoidance of doubt, the cleaning contract relates only to the scope confirmed in the booking. Any extra rooms, stain treatments, rugs, upholstery, mattress cleaning, or specialist treatments requested on the day may be accepted at our discretion and charged separately. A revised quotation may be provided where necessary.

Payments and Charges

Prices may be provided as fixed fees, estimates, or minimum charges depending on the service booked. Any quote is based on the information supplied by you and may change if the actual work, access, contamination, or treatment requirements are different from those described. All prices are stated in pounds sterling unless agreed otherwise.

Unless we agree in writing to invoice after completion, payment is usually due on completion of the work or immediately upon receipt of our invoice. We may accept bank transfer, debit card, credit card, cash, or another approved payment method. We are not obliged to begin or continue work if payment arrangements are not satisfactory.

Where a deposit is requested to secure a booking, the deposit may be non-refundable except as required by law or where we cancel the appointment without fault on your part. Deposits may be deducted from the final bill. If you fail to pay any amount due, we may charge reasonable recovery costs, administration fees, and statutory interest where permitted by law.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule by giving reasonable notice before the appointment. Where notice is received sufficiently in advance, no cancellation fee may apply. If you cancel at short notice, typically less than 24 hours before the appointment, or if we attend and are unable to complete the service due to your actions or omissions, we may charge a cancellation fee or retain any deposit to cover lost time and costs.

If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, staff illness, equipment failure, unsafe conditions, or events beyond our control, we will aim to offer an alternative appointment. Our liability for cancellation is limited to refunding any prepayment for the affected service where no alternative arrangement is accepted, subject to any rights you may have under consumer law.

For online or distance bookings made by consumers, any statutory cooling-off rights will apply in accordance with UK consumer protection law, subject to the usual exceptions where services have begun at your request or where you have agreed to an early start. If you ask us to attend within the cancellation period, you may lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed.

Service Standards and Customer Responsibilities

We will use reasonable skill and care in providing the carpet cleaning service. Our team will operate suitable equipment, follow appropriate product instructions, and aim to carry out work safely and professionally. However, outcomes may vary due to the age and condition of the carpet, pre-existing wear, dye instability, poor maintenance, and hidden defects.

You must tell us about any known issues that could affect the work, including water damage, damp, mould, loose seams, previous chemical treatments, underfloor heating, fragile fibres, or manufacturer restrictions. Failure to disclose such information may affect the result and may increase the risk of damage. We are entitled to rely on the information you give us when deciding how to proceed.

We may refuse to clean items that are heavily soiled, contaminated, unsafe, structurally unsound, or unsuitable for the selected method. We may also refuse or stop work if we believe the service would breach health and safety requirements or risk damage to the property, our equipment, or any person present.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss arising from circumstances outside our control.

Where we are found liable for damage caused by our negligence, our liability will be limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the affected item, taking account of age, condition, depreciation, and market value. We will not be responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or issues that arise because of unsuitable fibres, unstable dyes, or pre-existing weakness.

Carpet cleaning can sometimes reveal pre-existing stains, worn patches, shading, fibre distortion, or marks that were hidden by dirt. We are not liable for such pre-existing conditions becoming visible after cleaning. Likewise, we are not responsible for damage caused by items left in the room, by furniture that is moved by you, or by instructions given against our advice.

If you request the use of a particular product, method, or treatment against our recommendation, you accept the risks associated with that choice. We may refuse to use a product if we believe it is unsafe or unsuitable. We are not liable for damage caused by your own handling, ventilation choices, or failure to follow aftercare guidance provided at the end of the service.

Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to us as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within a reasonable time after the service. You must allow us the opportunity to inspect the issue, gather information, and, where appropriate, attempt a remedy. Failure to permit inspection may affect our ability to assess the claim fairly.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection law in the United Kingdom. Where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction, depending on the circumstances.

Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance

We aim to manage waste from the carpet cleaning service responsibly and in line with applicable UK waste disposal and environmental requirements. This may include waste water, removed debris, used disposable materials, waste packaging, and contaminated items collected during the service where such items are part of the agreed work.

Any waste water, sludge, or residue generated during cleaning will be handled according to appropriate disposal methods and must not be directed into drains or locations that would breach local environmental rules. We may refuse to dispose of hazardous substances, bodily fluids, sharps, asbestos, chemicals, or other regulated waste unless we have expressly agreed to do so and are legally permitted to manage it.

You remain responsible for informing us of any hazardous materials, contamination, or special waste at the property. If we discover materials that may require specialist handling, we may suspend the service and advise that a qualified contractor be engaged. Additional disposal costs may apply where lawful and necessary.

We may remove and dispose of minor waste created during the cleaning process if this is included in the service scope or reasonably incidental to the work. However, we are not obligated to remove household rubbish, bulky waste, or items unrelated to the booked service unless specifically agreed beforehand. Environmental compliance may require us to document disposal arrangements where necessary.

Insurance, Safety, and Access

We maintain insurance arrangements that we consider appropriate for the nature of our business. A copy of insurance details may be provided on request where relevant, but such information does not amount to a guarantee that every loss will be covered. Our presence at the property does not remove your responsibility to secure valuables and protect sensitive items.

You must ensure safe access to the property and the areas to be cleaned. This includes making sure walkways are clear, pets are secured, and anyone present behaves in a way that allows the work to proceed safely. If unsafe conditions prevent us from carrying out the service, we may leave and charge for wasted attendance.

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer living in another part of the UK, any mandatory local legal rights still apply.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. No failure or delay by us in enforcing any right shall be treated as a waiver of that right. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
